Mary Beth Lee, LCSW + Intelligence on the Rocks

Mary Beth Lee, LCSW, one of our deeply compassionate and experienced clinicians here at Well Mind Body, was recently featured on two episodes of the Intelligence on the Rocks podcast. Mary Beth brings a wealth of knowledge and real-world experience to her work in addiction, trauma, and crisis intervention.

In the episode titled "Interventions," Mary Beth unpacks what interventions really look like, beyond the dramatized TV versions. They explore when they can be effective, how they’re best approached with care and strategy, and what can sometimes go wrong. It’s an eye-opening look at a process that can truly change and even save lives.

In the second episode, "Harm Reduction," Mary Beth, Lizzy and Antonio dive into a compassionate and evidence-based approach to substance use and recovery. Mary Beth helps break down what harm reduction really means, how it challenges stigma, and why it can be a powerful tool for healing.

Both episodes are incredibly informative, and I believe they offer something valuable whether you’re navigating these issues personally or supporting someone you love.

As always, our goal at Well Mind Body is to bring clarity, compassion, and empowerment to the conversation around mental health and recovery.

You can listen to both episodes of Intelligence on the Rocks wherever you get your podcasts.
