Joyful Journeys: A Wellness Conversation

On Thursday, May 1, I had the pleasure of attending the 2nd Annual Joyful Journeys: A Wellness Conversation at The Goodman. This inspiring event brought together individuals from all walks of life to celebrate and explore the many paths to optimal health and well-being. The evening was hosted by Jane’s Joyride; a grant-based charitable organization which supports education, funds research, and raises awareness in the pursuit of long-term healthy living.

This year’s keynote speakers, Danielle and Bryan Mitchell of The Cognizant Group, delivered a powerful presentation on neuroplasticity and whole-system wellness. Their talk illuminated the incredible capacity of the brain to change and adapt through intentional practices, and underscored the importance of viewing wellness through an integrative, whole-person lens.

It was especially meaningful to hear from Danielle Mitchell, a dear friend of mine, whose passion for helping others live fully and authentically shines through in all that she does.

As someone deeply invested in holistic mental health, this event was a beautiful reminder of the transformative power of community, education, and collaboration. I walked away feeling renewed, inspired, and even more committed to supporting others on their wellness journeys.

Thanks for being here,
